Samantha Clark and Jeremiah Prout from Alotau Group ‘Night Shift’ are now in the running to be PNG’s next Digicel Star.

The pair automatically entered into the Digicel Stars 2 Grand Finale when they were announced as the Judges’ Choice on the Digicel Stars 2 Semi-final show last Sunday after a superb performance of Michael Jackson’s ‘Earth Song’.

 Samantha Clark, 19 and Jeremiah Prout 27, both from the Milne Bay Province have every reason to smile after being announced as the very first contestants to have made it into the Digicel Stars 2 Grand Finale. ‘Night Shift’ will be meeting with three more of the semi-finalists who will be voted back by viewers this week.

The other semi-finalists whom viewers could vote into the grand finale are; POM contestants Andrew Napolean, Brian Kepi, Mereani Masani and Gideon Singur and, Kokopo contestant, Allen Jim.

The Digicel Stars 2 Showcase will be aired at 6:30pm this Sunday on EMTV. Finalists will also be featured next week in a live concert scheduled to be held on Dec 14 at the Jack Pidik Park in Port Moresby.

Meanwhile, the Grand Final show is all set for Dec 15 when the top four contestants compete for a shot at a recording contract valued at K15, 000 and an iPad to the value of K3, 000. The first and second runner-up will also score a Samsung Galaxy smartphone each; valued at K2, 000.
