Digicel has donated K110,000 for this year's Red Cross Miss PNG Quest,
The telecommunciation company yesterday handed an K80,000 cheque as sponsorship for the annual event.
Another K30,000 would go towards sponsoring an entrant for the quest.
Digicel PNG chief executive officer John Mangos said : "As a corporate citizen of PNG, Digicel is proud to be an official sponsor of the quest.
"We believe that this will go a long way in helping PNG Red Cross further its exellent work towards humanity and society".
Mangos said Digicel had proudly made its mark in helping PNG Red Cross to continue providing support and services in health, disaster preparedness and relief.
He also called on other companies to come forward and support this year's quest.
Red Cross acting secretary general John Hosea thanked Digicel for the support and said: "The money raised from the quest will go towards the vulnerable and build resilient communities in the country".
Hosea also appealed to other corporate citizens to sponsor an entrant to help support the worthy cause.
All confirmed contestants would be announced on Friday together with their sponsors.
