The ‘Text to Win World Cup Tickets’ promotion consisted of eight weekly draws of K1000 per customer and a final major prize of two airline tickets to the FIFA World Cup finals in South Africa in July.
The overall promotion package includes two return tickets, hotel accommodation for a total of three days and two nights, land transfers and US$1,000 spending money.
Customers participated by simply texting the word ‘Soccer’ to 7878 for a chance to win. All SMS costs K1 each for Prepaid and K0.91 for Post paid customers respectively.
The ‘Text to Win World Cup Tickets’ promotion was launched on March 19 and ended on May 21.
